Helping the Rainelle Public Library After West Virginia Floods

Last month, flooding caused unprecedented destruction across West Virginia, and the town of Rainelle was no exception. Flood waters destroyed homes, business and the public library. All books were lost and the building's structure has been severely compromised and may need to be completely rebuilt. The library is an integral part of their community as educator Tiffany Wolford explains; "In a small town with many low-income citizens, a public library is crucial. They provide a place for citizens to go for entertainment and leisure as well as a location where students are able to work on assignments for school. As an educator in Greenbrier County, I know that many students do not have access to computers or Internet at home and rely on the public library for doing research."

An Out of Print fan reached out and asked if there was anything we could do to help or spread the word. So for the next week, a portion of sales from our library collection will go towards helping Rainelle rebuild and reopen their library.
